It has been said that smell is the sense that evokes our most distant memories, and I wonder if that isn't why so many people stop at our craft show booth for a sniff of soap. See what memories pop up when you smell our soaps.
We make all of our soap in small batches from scratch using the cold-process method. All the bars are hand cut, then cured for a minimum of four weeks prior to sale. Each bar weighs over 4 ounces.
Our soap is a custom blend of olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil & palm kernel oil, and of that combination, 50% is olive oil. Our own Northwoods filtered well water plus sodium hydroxide makes lye, and lye mixed with fat makes soap! Our scented soaps contain either cosmetic grade, skin-safe, essential or fragrance oils formulated for use in soap and body products. We offer a variety of fragrances, including 4 different fragrance free soaps for those with ultra-sensitive skin. You will find that there is something for everyone.
We have added Spearmint-Rosemary Salve to our line, because we, like everyone else, occasionally need some extra moisture! As always, you can read the label and know what is in our product! We've attached our own photos to the soap descriptions, some relevant and some not.
Almond Oatmeal Soap

Almond is the prevalent scent in our ALMOND OATMEAL Soap, with hints of milk, oatmeal & honey. It is one of our all-time customer favorites. (Note: since our labels are the same & our soaps look similar, we aren't publishing photos of each one.)
Cedar & Fir Soap

Our CEDAR AND FIR NEEDLE Soap has very nice properties. Cedarwood essential oil is believed to calm and sooth nerves. Fir Needle essential oil is a traditional pine scent. Combined, they remind our northern friends of the sauna, and has a smooth, refreshing evergreen aroma. (photo: Star Lake).
Cherry Almond Soap

Citrus Synergy Soap

CITRUS SYNERGY Soap is a great soap for PEOPLE and DOGS too! We have added Vitamin E in the form of shea butter and avocado oil to our base oils for extra moisture, and combined Lemongrass, Litsea Cubeba, and Eucalyptus essential oils to deodorize and repel BUGS! Cranberry Fig Soap

Eucalyptus-Fir Needle Soap

EUCALYPTUS-FIR NEEDLE Soap is great for the Sauna. Eucalyptus essential oil is often used for muscle and joint pain, and to clear the respiratory system. Fisherman's Scrub Soap

FISHERMAN'S SCRUB was intended to be a hand soap, great for removing fish-cleaning and other cooking odors, such as garlic & onions. Fragrance Free Soap

NOTE: Although this soap rinses dark, it does not stain the sink or tub. It can be a bit messy alongside the sink, so you may prefer to use it in the shower or bath. Like all of our products, it lacks petroleum, formaldehyde, and parabens that store-bought soaps & shampoos are made of. We only take Shampoo when we travel for bath and hair care.
